D CEO and Communities Foundation of Texas are presenting the 2024 Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards, which aim to recognize outstanding nonprofits and the companies that support them. The awards include categories such as the Capital One Impact Initiative Award, Innovation in Education, Leadership Excellence, Most Successful Fundraising or Awareness Campaign, Nonprofit Team of the Year, Organization of the Year, and Outstanding Innovation. Nominations are open until April 18, 2024, and individuals can sign up to receive program alerts via email.
The Capital One Impact Initiative Award will honor a local nonprofit that is making innovative efforts to advance socioeconomic mobility, close equity gaps, and support areas such as workforce development, housing stabilization, small business support, racial equity, and financial well-being. The Innovation in Education category recognizes nonprofits that provide or support educational resources to prepare the next generation of talent. Leadership Excellence will celebrate exceptional nonprofit CEOs, executive directors, or board chairs. The awards will cater to organizations of various sizes to ensure inclusivity and representation across the sector.
Nonprofits that have executed successful fundraising or awareness campaigns in the past year can be nominated for the Most Successful Fundraising or Awareness Campaign award. The Nonprofit Team of the Year category focuses on recognizing nonprofit staff or teams within organizations that work tirelessly to support specific causes or programs. The Organization of the Year award will honor a nonprofit that stands out for its service and mission-based success. Additionally, the Outstanding Innovation award will highlight nonprofits that are implementing new ideas or strategies to enhance their operations and mission execution.
